About Ambrosia Nrar
Meet Ambrosia—a graceful, striking mama Maine Coon mix who found herself in foster care in Merrifield, VA while pregnant last April. She raised five healthy kittens with calm devotion; now, after watching three find loving homes, it’s her turn. Ambrosia enjoys quiet company, following people from room to room or observing everything from a cat tree. She doesn’t demand attention but, once comfortable, rolls over to show her belly in a gentle sign of trust. Ambrosia likes pets and brushing, though she prefers affection on her terms. Her foster mom thinks she’s got a snuggly lap cat inside, just waiting for the right, patient home—ideally one that’s quieter and less chaotic than foster life. Ambrosia gets along with mellow cats but wouldn’t do well with pushy or territorial ones. She’ll happily be the only cat or settle in with a calm feline friend. Meals are a big highlight for Ambrosia, and she’s always up for a treat. She shifts easily from lounging to playing with a wand toy, showing her gentle but playful side. Ambrosia is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she’s FELV/FIV negative. She’ll thrive in a calm home where she can build trust and enjoy being someone’s whole world.
