AvailableAbout Dawn
Dawn is a gentle young pup with a shy, tender nature who just needs a little time to feel safe in new situations. Once she builds trust, her sweet personality really shines through — she becomes affectionate, loyal, and eager to be close to her people. She has a calm, mild temperament and is very intelligent, picking up on her environment quickly. Dawn loves being outside where she can stretch her legs and run, enjoying the freedom and fresh air. She can be sensitive to loud noises and traffic, so she'll do best in a slightly quieter environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. With other dogs, Dawn is friendly and curious, and she takes comfort in canine companionship. She enjoys their presence and can learn a lot from calm, well-balanced dog friends. Dawn is the kind of dog who may start off reserved, but once she feels secure, she becomes a deeply affectionate companion who truly bonds with her people. They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
