About Rowdy Roo
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Say hello to Rowdy Roo, a lovable mixed breed (Pit Bull Terrier/Border Collie) who recently had his moment in the TV spotlight, charming everyone with his silly antics and contagious smile. His temporary fosters have shown him what it means to be adored: plenty of love, nuzzles, and even a spa day complete with his own bathrobe. Now, Rowdy Roo is hoping for a long-term foster or forever home where he can continue soaking up all the affection he deserves. Rowdy Roo stands out for his gentle antics—he takes treats softly, is very potty trained, and has proven to be completely non-destructive around the house. He's known to offer a quick woof when excited, but soon settles back into his favorite soft spot on the couch. He doesn’t jump and, with slow introductions, can make friends with other dogs. Compliments flow his way during walks, and he absolutely adores meeting new people. He's also a fan of older children and is famous for his adorable 'Rock Star tongue' and love for squeaky toys. Whether he's sitting smartly for treats or checking in for more butt scratches, Rowdy Roo’s playful spirit shines through. He enjoys road trips, snuggling across car seats, and being the 'sweet potato' of every room he enters. Volunteers and photographers alike rave about his charms, describing him as the love of their life and a gentle, playful companion eager to complete someone's family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
