About Gayle

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Gayle is a playful, happy, and affectionate medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier looking for her forever family. Her foster families share that she loves spending time with people, enjoying a good snooze during the day, and showing her silly side when it’s time to play. While she’s kennel trained and house trained, Gayle prefers a stable environment and will thrive in a home where she can interact often, though she does well alone for longer periods too. She shines in the company of people and is gentle and appropriate with children she’s met. Gayle enjoys playtime—tug of war, football, or a jolly ball are some of her favorites. She would love a dog companion who is respectful with toys and understands her boundaries, as she is not keen on sharing her favorite things. Gayle is very people-oriented, seeking out affection and loving her cheese stick treats. She behaves nicely in the car and enjoys walks, especially when she can explore and sniff her surroundings. While she’s still working on leash manners and can be distracted by runners or bikes, she continues to improve through consistent positive reinforcement training. Gayle is not suitable for a home with cats and would do best with a canine friend that is submissive or easygoing. She’s a sweet, smart, volunteer favorite who is ready to bring fun and loyalty to a loving home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
