Persephone, often called Percy, is a medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier in Fargo, ND, waiting for just the right home. She's a mix of energy and calm—a dog who loves her zoomies in short bursts and then happily burrows into blankets or curls up in laps. Percy is extremely affectionate, loyal, and drawn to her people; she thrives on being part of your daily routine and doesn't want to miss a thing. She is house trained, crate trained, and picks up new commands quickly. Percy knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, high five, roll over, and plenty more. She quietly keeps watch from her favorite couch perch, enjoys enrichment toys, chews, bones, and cannot resist carrying a blanket wherever she decides to rest. walks are a highlight—especially along a well-worn route—but she is still reactive to other animals, particularly dogs and cats, and continues to make steady progress with guidance.
