Aspen came into rescue as an orphaned bottle baby after losing his mother in December. Now at about two and a half years old, he’s turned into a big, goofy presence with a reputation for trying to fit himself onto any available lap. Aspen adores kids and makes an excellent playmate for older children, but his size and high energy aren’t the best match for toddlers. If there are toys and another dog around, he’ll wrestle and play for hours. He loves a good romp, and he’ll need a securely fenced yard so he can really stretch his legs and burn off energy.
