About Penny

Penny is a medium-sized terrier mix with a big personality packed into her 35-pound frame. She’s fun, energetic, and has a real spark—think part dog, part rabbit, with a dash of diva. Penny is crate-trained, potty-trained, house-trained, and knows her way around an ecollar—training that she needs to keep thriving. She loves playing with toys, going for car rides, taking walks, and curling up for a good cuddle. Penny blends right in with other dogs and even gets along with cats. She’s up to date on vaccines and spayed. Her ideal match is an experienced adopter who’s confident, consistent, and can maintain her structured routine with an ecollar (training support will be provided). Penny isn’t a fit for homes with kids, though she’s done great interacting with them in public. She’d love a spot on your lap, some toys to keep her busy, and, ideally, a dog or cat companion (but she’s happy either way). Her foster raves: Penny listens well, brings loads of fun, and will happily be part of every adventure—especially if snacks are involved. Penny is available through a Foster-to-Adopt program with initial costs covered during the foster period. Ready to meet a dog with tons of character and potential? Start your journey together!
