About Rainey

Rainey came to the rescue after surviving an abusive past. When she arrived, she had already lost vision in her right eye from a cataract and other complications, which the vet removed to prevent future problems. Now fully healed, she’s adapted and gets on just fine as a one-eyed cat. Rainey is friendly and loves to play, but her trust needs to be earned—she’s loyal and genuinely sweet once she feels safe. She’s about a year old, spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are current. Rainey will be visiting the adoption event at Petco in Newington, CT soon; stop by to meet her. She needs a patient adopter who respects her history and can give her the gentle home she deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
