About URGENTElmer
Elmer has spent over a year waiting for a home, and he’s overdue for one. Rescued as a stray in Southington and now settled in a foster home in Berlin, Elmer has proven himself a true people-lover. He thrives on affection, ready to curl up in your lap and purr for hours. Gentle and sweet, Elmer wants nothing more than to be your constant companion—and he doesn’t mind sharing space with submissive cats and could be okay with some dogs. He’d also be just fine as your only pet. Elmer, about two years old, has food allergies and eats Hound & Gatos canned food. He’s neutered, up to date with rabies and distemper vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. Elmer is FIV positive but healthy and asymptomatic—most FIV+ cats live long, normal lives, and FIV can’t be spread casually. If you have questions about FIV or anything else, support is available. Elmer is affectionate, talkative, and ready for a lap to call his own. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
