About Lulu

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Say hello to Lulu, a lovely Cane Corso with a gentle spirit who is searching for her second chance. After arriving as a lost dog, this beautiful brindle and white girl has shown a sensitive, timid side in the loud shelter environment, which is easy to understand. Despite her initial shyness, Lulu’s kindness shines through—she adores treats, taking them ever-so-politely, and will sit patiently for a tasty reward. What Lulu needs most is a calm, loving home where she can relax, decompress, and rediscover joy. At just about a year old and weighing 68 lbs, she has her whole life ahead of her. Lulu has tested positive for heartworms, and shelter staff are ready to help you navigate her care—including discussing foster-to-adopt options as she gets treated. With proper medical attention, Lulu is expected to recover and enjoy many happy years with her family. She will be fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon adoption. No matter her past or present, Lulu is ready for someone to believe in her and give her the peaceful, loving home she deserves. Please reference her ID #18443 when making inquiries, and consider scheduling a meet-and-greet if you have other pets. All listings for Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are managed by volunteers, and direct information on Lulu’s experience with children, other pets, or house training is not available. Visits are welcome at Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, GA. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
