About Junie

Junie is a petite bull terrier with a strong desire to be everyone’s friend. Weighing in at just 39 lbs, she’s a smaller bull terrier with a personality that fills the room. Junie is estimated to be a little over 2 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped—she’s ready for her next adventure. Junie loves other big, playful dogs but draws the line at dominant personalities and isn’t a good fit for homes with small dogs. Cats are a definite no for her; she will always want to chase them. Her favorite things are squeaky balls and a good game of fetch, whether you’re involved or not. She’s crate and house trained. Riding in the car is easy for her. On leash, she still gets eager when she spots dogs or people and will pull, but she’s intelligent and can keep learning with guidance. Junie barks to alert you if someone comes to the door but isn’t generally vocal. Her playful style is rough, and though she’s been around kids (she adores all people she meets), her enthusiasm and strength can be a lot for small children. Junie has a goofy, affectionate side and quickly becomes a favorite everywhere she goes. She’s being fostered in Sammamish, WA. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Junie would benefit from a securely fenced yard or regular access to outdoor areas for her play sessions. Bull Terriers are energetic; a space to run and chase toys is important.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Junie loves humans of all ages, but her rough-and-tumble play style and strength mean she does best in homes with older children or kids who can handle an active, powerful dog.
