She does best in homes with women, and any male family members need to approach her gently and with patience; she responds with time and kindness. While she’s been around children before, her current foster home doesn’t have kids—gentle, respectful children are a must if present. Maybelle is making great progress in foster care: she’s leash trained, reliably house trained, and has picked up basic obedience with the help of clicker training.
