About Cali
Cali is an 8-year-old Bull Terrier (about 58 lbs) now settled in Glenwood, AR, searching for the right place to call home. He spent his life with the same person until recently and came into rescue on Christmas Day, so he’s still adjusting to all the changes around him. Old bite scars hint at a rough past, and he can be a little wary when meeting new folks, but warmth wins him over quickly. Cali is a loyal shadow—he craves close company and forms intense bonds with his person. With other dogs, Cali does fine, and he’s just as content on car rides or curled up in his crate. House trained and neutered, he also has his vaccines up to date. He’ll sometimes spin in circles if too much is happening at once, but steady routines and calm direction help him settle. Cali’s back acts up if he overdoes it—moderation and gentle movement work best. He sleeps well crated and will need to be crated when home alone, as he’s got a soft spot for tearing up pillows given half a chance. A patient adopter who values companionship, structure, and steady affection will find a true friend in Cali. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
