About Bark Twain
Bark Twain is a striking adult American Bulldog mix, picked up as a stray but unmistakably someone's cherished companion not so long ago. Solidly built and muscular, Bark Twain sports a short white coat accentuated by black and charcoal patches on his back, left side, and tail. His charming face is set off by a black patch around his left eye, a charcoal nose, and those soft, floppy ears that give him a puppyish look even as a grown dog. Photos caught Bark Twain displaying good cheer, even during a makeshift photo session in the grass, where he tolerated bandanas and wagged at the sight of other dogs nearby. He's big—an estimated 70 to 75 lbs—and there’s plenty of energy behind his leash pulls. At the shelter, he made clear he was missing his people, crying in his kennel and clearly out of sorts in this unfamiliar situation, but he quickly softened in the company of attentive volunteers. Bark Twain is already neutered and about two years old, born under Taurus—a sign known for loyalty and stubbornness. While he's not house trained yet, he's eager for attention and bonds quickly. Big, bold, and affectionate, Bark Twain is ready for a new start with someone who appreciates a loyal, loving companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
