Meet Arlo! This sweet, adorable little guy—around 2 years old and possibly a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix—has already lived a life that’s asked him to be cautious. Found as a stray and likely on his own for most of his life, Arlo is still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. In his foster home, he enjoys playing with the other dogs and will happily join in a good game of chase. He’s a quiet, easy presence—no barking, no digging, no chewing—just a gentle soul taking in the world around him. Because of his past, Arlo is slow to trust, but you can truly see that he wants to. He doesn’t rush affection; instead, he chooses his moments, and when he does, they feel extra special and full of meaning. Arlo is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace and finally feel what it’s like to be someone’s safe place too.
