Gizmo would thrive in a calm environment where his gentle personality can shine.

About Gizmo

Gizmo is settling in and relaxing into rescue life a little more each day. He leans hard into his role as a snuggle buddy and wants nothing more than to be close, curling up beside his person for comfort and warmth. When Gizmo first arrived, he was matted and dirty—clearly neglected and left to fend for himself. Grooming and gentle care have started to reveal his true, gentle spirit. He fits best in a quiet, calm home where he feels safe and can continue building confidence. Gizmo is crate trained (whines briefly but settles quickly) and does well with older children (age 7+), though he hasn’t been tested around very young kids. He has shown some reactivity to cats and still needs to meet other dogs. Leash training is in progress. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Gizmo is resilient, loving, and ready for someone patient who wants an affectionate, loyal companion. If safe and steady is your pace, Gizmo could be a perfect fit. He was born under the sign of Aries, which often marks a spirited and brave little soul. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
