Dottie is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. She is a 7 month old, female, medium sized, mixed breed. She can be a bit shy at first and will need a patient family that will give her time and encouragement while she settles in. Once she starts to feel comfortable, her sweet and gentle personality will start to reveal itself. Dottie forms quiet, meaningful bonds and shows her love in soft, affectionate ways that will absolutely melt your heart. She does great with other dogs and even gets along well with cats. Another outgoing dog could really help her build confidence and show her the ropes. Like any puppy, she’s still learning routines and growing into herself, but she’s already showing so much potential. With a little patience and a lot of love, Dottie is going to grow into an incredibly special best friend.  ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
