About Bonita
Bonita is all sass and sweetness packed into a tiny 6-pound body. This young Chihuahua mix arrived from Virginia and wasted no time letting everyone know she’s got personality to spare. Bonita thrives around other dogs—size doesn’t faze her—and she genuinely lights up in the company of playful canine friends. If you already have a dog who loves to romp, she’ll be thrilled to join in. Once she’s had her fun, Bonita becomes a cuddle pro, settling into laps for snuggles after a good play session. She sleeps calmly in her crate, is making strides with house training, and will reliably use pee pads or head outdoors. Car rides? She’s perfectly content riding quiet in her carrier. Everyday handling and grooming are no problem, thanks to her easygoing temperament. Still, Bonita’s small frame means she’ll need people who know how to protect pint-sized pups indoors and out—her safety will depend on it. A home with another dog and folks familiar with tiny breeds is her dream. Although currently undergoing Lyme disease treatment, Bonita hasn’t lost her spark; she handles it with zero fuss. She’s spayed and up to date on vaccines. This one’s pure fun, big heart, and classic Chihuahua confidence—just waiting for her next adventure. Click apply to start the adoption process.
