Sweet Potato came to us when she was at risk of euthanasia for a severe heart murmur due to aortic stenosis. She had a major procedure to repair her heart which was very successful and the cardiologist expects her to have a normal lifespan. She is not on any meds and likely will not need them in the future for her heart. SP is now almost a year old and is a typical puppy. She is curious and likes toys but also does sometimes chew on things she is not supposed to. She is also still working on housebreaking so will need someone willing to continue her training. She is good with both dogs and cats and likes to cuddle with 4 legged friends. SP is a little shy initially but warms up fairly quickly. She does seem to like kids though her foster does not have any. She does well in a crate, and is learning to walk on a leash but is small and portable at just 8-9 lbs. She is current on all vaccines, microchipped and will be spayed and adoption ready by 5/1/26. She is fostering in Tempe and meet and greets will need to happen at or near her current home.
