AvailableAbout Franko
Franko is a 2.5-month-old Blue Heeler and Pit Bull mix who is currently navigating the world with the typical curiosity of a working breed puppy. He was rescued and is now looking for a structured home where his intelligence and energy can be properly channeled. Daily Life At home, Franko is a social and tactile puppy. He often seeks out his humans to lean against them on the bed or sofa, showing a strong desire for physical connection. He is remarkably calm during grooming sessions, handling baths and blow-drying without fear. While he is learning the ropes of crate training and can settle inside for naps, he will let you know with a bark if kept confined for too long. As a growing puppy, he explores with his mouth and is particularly interested in household items like shoes, cardboard boxes, and plastic bins. Outdoors, he is eager to meet other dogs and will offer friendly licks, though he still tends to pull on the leash in excitement. He has a reliable recall when off-leash in a controlled area and shows a natural alertness to unfamiliar sounds from the TV or outside. Personality & Emotional Tone Franko is a sturdy, high-spirited puppy. He doesn’t just "exist" in a room; he participates in it. He is exceptionally food-motivated and approaches mealtime with great focus, which makes him an excellent candidate for advanced training. He has a bold yet affectionate temperament—fearless enough to enjoy the water, yet soft enough to want to be your shadow. Ideal Home Franko would thrive in an active household familiar with Cattle Dog or Pit Bull temperaments. Since he is still working on potty training and teething, his adopters should be prepared for the patience required for puppyhood. A home that can provide mental stimulation and consistent boundaries will help him grow into a well-adjusted adult. He would do well in a home with children or other pets, provided they can handle his enthusiastic play style. Franko is a smart, engaged companion who is ready to bond deeply with a family that enjoys the outdoors as much as he does.
