About Sandy

Sandy is about 9-10 weeks old and landed in rescue after she, her mother, and siblings sought shelter during the rainstorms last December. A Good Samaritan found them in the High Desert of Southern California, cold and looking for safety. Sandy is a Heeler mix and shows all the hallmarks—keen intelligence, curiosity, and a longing to learn. Her soft, striking coat and piercing grey-blue eyes stand out right away. This pup thrives on activity and needs a home where walks, hikes, and one-on-one time are part of the daily routine. Sandy's looking for a true companion, not just a family mascot. She wants a partnership where she gets both attention and adventure, and she’s ready for basic training and all the involvement you’re willing to offer. Sandy is house trained, gets along well with other dogs and children, and will have her spay covered by the rescue when old enough at the local clinic. She’s waiting for someone who values a real bond and wants to bring a clever, affectionate puppy into their world. Your new best friend is just one click away.
