About Saint Gertrude

Meet Saint Gertrude, a striking tortoiseshell with a big spirit and a story worth telling. Once feral, she spent over two years learning to trust, nurtured patiently by kind folks determined to show her the bright side of life. She’s earned her nickname, “Mommy,” with her trademark chirps and gentle, watchful presence. Now social and confident, she thrives around dogs and fits right in with canine companions. Male cats get along well with her, but she would rather not share space with another female feline. Like most torties, her personality is bold—she’ll charm you one minute and lay down boundaries the next, always communicating her needs with honesty. Gertrude has put motherhood behind her and is ready for a future full of stability, safety, and affection. She’ll do best in a household that moves at her pace and appreciates her quirks. Available mid to late July, she’ll go home spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and with a transferable emergency insurance policy for peace of mind. Fun fact: with a March 16th birthday, she’s a Pisces—a natural for bonding and empathy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
