About Sherman

Sherman and Patsy were pulled from a backyard breeder in San Bernardino, where they survived outdoors in punishing heat, unprotected and uncared for. By the time Sherman reached rescue, he had a heart murmur, inflamed skin, and infected ears—the physical toll of neglect was obvious. Despite everything, his quiet gentleness shone through. In foster, Sherman has completely come alive. His recovery is remarkable, and so is his spirit. He’s turned out funny, outgoing, deeply affectionate, and easy to have around. He greets every person like an old friend, always happy to be included. Sherman thrives on human attention, inviting you into his relaxed, friendly world. He’s not yet house trained, but his affectionate nature and eagerness to belong make him quick to adapt. Sherman loves the company of other dogs and is wonderful with children. Now fully healthy, Sherman is ready for the comfortable, loving home he always deserved. Interestingly, Sherman is a Sagittarius—known for optimism and warmth, and it suits him perfectly.
