About Butterball

Meet Sadie McButterball, an 8-year-old American Bully whose story nearly ended before it had a chance to bloom. Left alone in a backyard, Butterball was discovered in rough shape—collapsed, struggling to breathe, and bleeding from a ruptured mammary mass. After an emergency vet run, she stabilized, had the mass removed (thankfully, not cancer), and was spayed to close the book on her days as a puppy mom. BOAS surgery helped her breathe freely again, and she’s now completely medically cleared. Butterball is all about the simple joys: short walks, long naps, and making fast friends with any dog she greets—no matter their size. She gets along with children (best with ages 8 and up) and has even peacefully lived with a cat. Underneath her strong look, she's gentle and affectionate, always up for a cuddle. Butterball is house trained, sweet to newcomers, and happy to add some warmth and loyalty to a new family. Pisces born, she’s empathetic and soulful, with a contagious mellow vibe.
