Curly was found stray in rural Virginia with two other male Beagles, Moe and Larry. They are all active, playful, healthy young Beagles and have similar personalities. They are good with other dogs and enjoy running and playing chase games. Like many hounds and Beagles from rural Virginia they have probably lived outside with each other and a pack of dogs. Each might be most comfortable in a home with another canine companion. They are curious in a new setting and will need some adjustment time; tentative when meeting new people but do warm up with a little patience. They have not been very barky and are quiet most of the time. Moe, Curly and Larry are about 2 yrs old, with weights of 26 - 27 lbs, and will arrive in Massachusetts May 16. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter.
