About Gus Power

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Gus Power's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Gus Power, a 9-week-old Beagle/Miniature Pinscher mix, weighing 6-7 pounds (as of 3/9/26). The POWER litter were unfortunately surrendered by their owners in Tennessee but look forward to saving the citizens of New England from the forces of evil! Gus is the only boy in his litter and he loves being a superhero with his sisters. Whether he's figuring out the intensity of a supervillain's electromagnetic radiation or chasing his own tail out of excitement, you're sure to be amused by his sweet and playful nature. This boy loves discovering new things so he can use them to fight the forces of evil! Don't be surprised if he grabs your old hairbrush to make a booby trap! Gus has got brains and brawn! The Power pups were raised around kids and other dogs. While they haven’t met cats yet, it’s a good age do introduce them to new family members! Perhaps your cat will want to join them in fighting bad guys! The Power pups are still learning puppy basics and have only traveled using the crate so far, so they ask for patience as they try to blend in like other dogs. If Clark Kent can do it, so can they! In order to protect their super secret identities, these pups will have to learn to walk on a leash, commands, potty training and not pulling your shoelace to get your attention. But with the right help from their future families, these pups will be destined for success! Go, go, Power Pups! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Gus Power, you must fill out an adoption application. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
