Matthew came to HOPE with his housemate Emma after attempting to acclimate to a family member's home after losing their mom a few years ago. After a solid attempt at integrating them into the family with other cats and dogs, it was evident that the cats were not thriving and needed a home where they could feel comfortable. Matthew is so sweet and a bit shy but always accepting of pets. He was bullied a bit by Emma and would probably do well with a calm, non-dominant kitty or calm dog. He would also do well where he can be the king of the house with no other pets. Matthew is 6 years old, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is ready to be loved and spoiled in a quieter home.
