About Tut
Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Tut came to the rescue in November after his owner passed away and there was no family able to care for him. He has quickly become a rescue favorite, charming everyone with his calm presence and understated affection. Estimated to be between 13 and 16 years old, Tut arrived with some dental discomfort from an infected tooth, which has since been resolved with treatment and a dental cleaning. During his care, a heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy was discovered. He will require echocardiograms every 6-12 months and may need medication in the future to help manage his condition. On top of his heart care, Tut occasionally needs ointment for his eyes, but his vision remains strong! He thrives on exploring every nook of the adoption center, and when he's ready to relax, you'll find him curled up on the manager's favorite chair. While Tut enjoys some playful spurts, he is primarily independent and values his space. Past experiences with unfriendly cats mean he would likely thrive as an only cat or with a gentle feline companion. Fun fact: Since Tut was born on November 22, he is a Sagittarius, often associated with a lively spirit and a love for exploration—traits Tut indeed possesses.
