About Hero

Welcome to Camp Cocker Rescue, Hero! Hero, a Cocker Spaniel, has recently come into care after being relinquished by his previous family. They loved him dearly but faced challenges in managing his healthcare needs. Hero is sweet with familiar faces, yet he’s missed out on socialization and needs help with walks, meeting new people, and visits to the vet or groomer. Having lived a sheltered life, Hero has a co-dependent relationship with his littermates, which has affected his confidence. He would thrive in a home with another confident dog, who can serve as a guide for navigating new experiences. It’s heartening to think how much he could flourish when given the chance to discover independence and self-assurance. Hero is waiting to start his journey toward a happier, more confident life.
