He's also a smart cookie—he is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to use a doggy door like a pro. He gets along well with most dogs, though he'd probably prefer companions closer to his size since bigger dogs can sometimes be a little too interested in him. When it comes to kids, he may do best with older, calmer ones who understand that small dogs need gentle handling.
