Chicken is a young puppy who came in as a stray and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. At intake, he was undersocialized and would often cower, try to hide, and roll over submissively when approached. He is very sensitive and needs a gentle, patient approach to help him feel secure and build trust with people. Since arriving, Chicken has already made noticeable progress and is beginning to come out of his shell. While he still lacks confidence, he is showing signs of improvement and potential with continued positive experiences. He will need consistent confidence-building, structured socialization, and basic training to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
