Fiona
AvailableFiona is a medium-sized, black Labrador Retriever mix with a short coat and a friendly, affectionate personality. Fiona currently resides in Tupper Lake, NY, waiting for her chance at a new beginning.
About Fiona
Fiona spent more than two years surviving at a train station in the Mexican jungle with her loyal companion, Shrek. Life was tough—she lost a puppy along the way—but Fiona’s resourcefulness and friendly spirit carried her through. Now, after being spayed, vaccinated, and treated for any illnesses, Fiona is ready for a safe home and the stability she’s missed. She’s independent but deeply loyal, partial to belly rubs, a romp in the grass, and showering affection on those she trusts. Fiona must be adopted with Shrek, and both are still waiting in Mexico until a family steps up to rescue them together. Adoption involves some patience while transport is arranged to upstate New York or northern Vermont. There are practical requirements for adopters—age, location, and home stability matter to ensure a real commitment. Fiona is not house trained, but she makes up for it with intelligence and warmth. Give her the home she's never known, and you’ll gain a loving dog who just wants a place to belong. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
