At around 7 years old, this Shih Tzu snack is the definition of “mellow milk chocolate energy,” with a gooey caramel center full of love. He’s a chill, affectionate boy who lives for belly rubs, leisurely walks, and soaking up sunshine like a treat left on a windowsill. Friendly and kind, Snickers is the type of pup who melts right into your life and quickly becomes your favorite daily indulgence. Like any good treat, Snickers has his preferences—he *strongly* dislikes the crate (like wrapper crinkle panic), so he’s happiest when given freedom and comfort instead. He’s doing well with house training when kept on a consistent routine, and he’s a low-key companion indoors, happily napping in his dog bed or wandering in and out of his space. He’s not big on toys, but he is big on outdoor time and strolls around the neighborhood. Bonus: he’s not bothered by squirrels or birds, so walks stay nice and peaceful. Socially, Snickers is a gentle, nougat-soft soul. He’s done well with dogs his size—playful but polite, with a submissive, easygoing vibe. While he hasn’t been around kids yet, his calm and friendly nature suggests he’ll likely do well with respectful ones. He’s comfortable being handled overall, though he prefers a little sensitivity around his tail area. Still learning his commands (he’ll “sit” when the mood strikes), Snickers is less about obedience and more about connection.
