About Fred

Fred was found living as a stray and brought to the shelter for care. He is about 5 years old, and while he has an enlarged heart, he recently underwent successful surgery to address the issue. Fred is FIV+, which means he has a weakened immune system, but he doesn’t need medication for it and can live a healthy life. We recommend Fred go to a calm home where he can thrive with minimal stress. This affectionate boy loves attention from people and would likely do well in a household with low-energy dogs or children. He must be the only cat or live with other FIV+ cats. Fred is in need of a loving family to give him the comfort he deserves. Click apply to start the adoption process.
