About Lilly

WE NEED HELP‼️ Donations, a special adopter, a sponsor and/or a rescue partner needed‼️ Lilly was picked up by animal control and is now available for adoption or a rescue pull. It appears sweet little Lilly lived her young life as a chained dog based on the extra heavy-duty collar she was wearing. She is also very underweight (it does not show just how much in her pictures). What is even more disheartening is that she is heartworm positive. Despite all the neglect Lilly has endured she is the sweetest girl who very much wants to be near people. She loves positive attention and interacting with everyone around her. She is eager to be shown some attention. Even as starved as she is he is very gentle when she takes treats from your hand. She is not quite as outgoing as Chewy but is still confident and playful. She has a loving and gentle spirit. Lilly is approximately 2-3 years old and right now only weighs 35 pounds. Her ideal weight would be more in the 45-50 pound range. We are humbly asking for donations to be called directly into Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center for her heartworm treatment. Please call (256)582-3184 to make a donation for Lilly and help us save her life. Lilly came in with a male companion, Chewy, who is also heartworm positive and will require the same medical care. It is obvious these two dogs were used for breeding. Lilly has clearly had mutiple litters. If you are interested in meeting Lilly come by the shelter at Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center at 1609 Henry St, Guntersville or call (256)582-3184 for more info. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 7:30-12.
