(April 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Zoe was rescued from a high kill rural shelter when her life was in danger, due to overcrowding and limited 'hold' days. A Trainer took her to safely and put her in a Prison Training Program where she's excelled. Her trainer calls her 'very sweet'. She's learned about house training, crate training, basic obedience and husbandry/grooming skills. She's ready to move on to a family life and is hoping your family will give her a good look. Zoe is about 2 yr. old now, so past those crazy puppy days, but healthy and full of love. She likes an active life and will be a great walking or hiking partner. She weighs about 45# and has lived happily with other dogs. There are no cats in the prison to test her with, but once he's in a foster home, that will be done. Zoe's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
