AvailableKoal is a male German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd mix with a medium build and a striking black, bicolor, and brindle coat. About Koal
Koal arrived with severe skin problems and barely any fur, but he’s steadily improving. He’s looking for an adopter who can help him finish his recovery by keeping up with his skin treatments. Despite what he’s been through, Koal is incredibly sweet natured and open to anyone ready to give him a chance. He’s very submissive, adapts to different living situations, and as a puppy he surprises people by being on the lower energy side. He needs a safe, calm spot to rest and rebuild, and what he wants more than anything is to know what real love feels like. If you give him your patience and care, you’ll see how much he blossoms. How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd mix, Koal would benefit from regular outdoor access, such as a fenced yard or frequent walks. His lower energy level means he doesn't need hours of intense exercise right now, but space to settle and explore will help his confidence and recovery.
