Despite that rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit. 💛 Now safe and finally learning what it means to be cared for, he’s soaking up every bit of comfort and attention he can get. Babe Ruth is the definition of a gentle love bug. He adores being close to his people, whether that’s curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house just to be near you. He enjoys his toys, gets excited for treats, and has that happy, wiggly tail that never seems to stop. He’s learning that the world is a safe place now and is blossoming more each day with patience and reassurance. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
