Fawn is a gentle 9-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and Miniature Pinscher mix with a quiet, tender spirit and so much love to give. She is friendly with adults, does well with older, considerate children, and gets along nicely with other dogs. Fawn is potty trained, has basic training, and is comfortable on a leash, in a crate, and riding in the car. This sweet girl is more of a companion than a cuddle bug. She may not climb into your lap, but she will happily stay close by, keeping you company just by being near. Fawn has a calm, moderate energy level and enjoys spending time outdoors, soaking in the sights and sounds at her own pace. Fawn can be cautious when meeting new people and will need a patient, understanding home that allows her the time and space to build trust. When she feels unsure, she tends to retreat and hide rather than bark, showing her sensitive and gentle nature. Once she settles in, her personality will continue to blossom. She has the cutest little snaggletooth that peeks out and adds to her unique charm. Fawn also has a favorite habit of claiming a chair as her own. It becomes her safe, cozy spot, and you will often find her there waiting for you when you return home. They arrive in Minnesota on 05/01/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
