Hello, I'm Momma I may not be able to tell you everything I've been through, but I can tell you this-I'm still here, and I still have so much love to give. I came up from Southern California with one of my puppies, doing my best like I always have. Now it's finally my turn to find a home where I get to be cared for. I'm an 18 lb poodle with a very kind heart. I'm gentle, affectionate, and I really enjoy being close to my people. At the same time, I do have that classic poodle personality-I can be a little bossy with other dogs and will let them know if they're not behaving properly (think of me as the "fun police" keeping everyone in line!). When I first arrived, I wasn't in the best shape. My coat was in rough condition, and I had some wounds on my ears-likely from being very tightly matted. The good news is, I'm feeling so much better now and already looking more like the beautiful girl I was always meant to be. What I'm really looking for is a home that understands I may need a little time to fully settle in and feel safe-but once I do, you'll see just how sweet and special I am. I've been through a lot, but I haven't let it harden my heart. If you're looking for a gentle, resilient companion with a touch of poodle sass and a whole lot of love to give, I might be your girl.
