Hi, I am Lady, a 4 year old easygoing Poodle mix that gets along with everyone! I am fostered in Portland, Oregon, but can move down to Cascadia, an hour from Sisters, 1.5 from Bend for a meet, once you have an approved application. I get along with big and small dogs, cats, and kids. I am a socialite! I am a big girl, so sturdy kids who are big-dog-savvy would be the best bet. I am house trained, leash trained and ride nicely in the car; a lot to love about me! I would make a great adventure dog, a family dog, a companion dog. I am vaccinated, de-wormed, had a DNA test, and a recent dental, as I have been on a Banfield plan. My adoption fee is $400. A great home for me and my must haves include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Adopters not gone long hours, Lady is fine staying alone for a standard workday, if she has a dog door, but we do not want her crated for that long. We would prefer folks not gone long all day, but will consider great owners who are away for workdays if they otherwise will spend most of their time with Lady. 3. Folks who treat their dogs as family members, including them in their fun activities. 4. People who believe in good nutrition and vet care, and who know and are prepared for the cost of grooming.
