SWEET, LOYAL & GENTLE: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 120 lbs. Hi there, I’m Ice Bear! I found myself in need of a new home when my owner’s work schedule became too demanding, and he could no longer give me the time and home he knew I deserved. He’s a dedicated public servant who spends his days looking out for others. Making the decision to find a new family to look out for me was not done lightly. With the help of Mostly Mutts, I know that I’ll soon find a wonderful new home where I can thrive! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I have liked lots of dogs I’ve met and enjoy running and playing with them and just being social! I have a “cousin” who comes over to play, and we always have a great time together in my yard. So, if you have a dog who also enjoys playing (with a huge dog friend), let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I’ve liked the kids I met with my owner, though I’m very large, so perhaps kids 10 and up would be best. I like playing with kids as well as resting at their feet and relaxing. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I have a calm, gentle, steady personality which is typical of my breed. I’m also gentle, affectionate and easygoing with a naturally protective nature, too. I’m very large and have a heart to match my size! I’ve had wonderful manners in the home and haven’t chewed on things I shouldn’t. Playful when it’s time for fun, but also as happy relaxing by your side with my loyal loving nature. I have had a person at home with me and I do love that, so a work-from-home or stay-at-home family member would be great for me! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’ve had professional training and will be happy to tell you about that. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I sleep quietly in my XL crate at night. / My potty manners have been great, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with my people, playing with other dogs, and getting outside to stretch my legs. I enjoy a good routine and a cozy place to relax after some fun! I’m accustomed to a fenced yard and would like that in my new home, too. / I’m not a fan of being left out as I really just want to be part of the family. Other than that, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, heartworm prevention as well as micro-chipped and neutered.
