About Hope
Hope is a gentle Lhasa Apso with a soft spirit—at eleven years old, she still has plenty of love to give. She lost her home when her loving adopter passed away, and the transition has left Hope a bit careful and reserved around new people. Given her past as a breeder release, new things can feel overwhelming, but kindness, patience, and a calm environment help her settle in. Hope does very well with dogs and gets along nicely with cats, so she’d be a good choice for multi-pet homes. She's making progress with outdoor potty training, though she's currently most comfortable using potty pads indoors. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, and she even enjoys bath time. Hope is due for a dental procedure before adoption and will be ready to go home once she's feeling her best. Her ideal adopter is understanding and patient, willing to let Hope grow in confidence at her own pace. As an Aries, Hope brings a quiet bravery and a hopeful spirit, always ready for new beginnings even when they're a little scary. Ready to make room for a sweet senior? She’s waiting for a gentle hand and a comfy spot. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
