Just seven months ago, she was found curled up on a rug outside a gas station in Mississippi, malnourished and missing large patches of fur. Today, Athena is thriving with her foster family and excited to impress her future family with all her magic tricks! Athena loves playing in the yard and enjoys her time at the dog park where she shows off to the other dogs how she can pull a toy rabbit out of a hat! Is it magic? Absolutely! That's why she's "amazing!" When she's not telling you to pick a card, any card, Athena enjoys resting her head under your shoulder, seeking warmth and companionship right before she asks you to be her magician's assistant. What? Someone has to get cut in half and it can't be Athena Amazing! She's great on a leash, has some experience in a crate but mostly free roams (she's practice her disappearing magic act!).
