AvailableAbout Shaden Feb
Looking for your next furry BFF? We don’t have perfect dogs — but we do have dogs who are perfect for the right someone. Our goal is to match each dog with the home that fits them best and each home with the dog that will sing to your heart. Ready to adopt? Complete an application at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet, SC Weight: 19 lbs Height: 14 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $499 Fence needed? No - although he would love one, he does not have to have one. He would love long walks. Want To Know More About Me? Text Shaden to 864-441-9075 for my full story and photos - we'll send everything you need to know! Here's Your Quick Peek: Shaden is a sensitive, slow-to-trust boy who needs a calm, predictable home with an experienced owner willing to earn his devotion. Please note - if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: A patient owner who lets him find his own way Exercise: Medium needs - a few walks, some slow and at least one brisk and he will be fine Best with: An older woman who is looking for her BFF Not ideal for: A home with very young children, a home with a ton of energy Energy level: A solid 3 out of 10 - he's very even Shaden struggles with new people and change, and will bark and keep his distance until he feels safe—this is not a dog for a busy home, frequent visitors, or a first-time owner. He is best suited for a quiet, adult home with an experienced handler; in that environment, he becomes deeply affectionate and loyal, forming a meaningful bond with “his person” that is absolutely worth the wait. If you want to tighten it even one more notch (like true pre-screen mode), I can add a subtle “not for...” line without sounding harsh. Good with dogs: Yes although he will bark at big dogs especially if they get rude Good with kids: We do not recommend kids. He really seems to like the company of women Cats: Unsure - can test if you have one Fun fact: He's a Jersey boy! Shaden came to us from New Jersey! Potential Adopters Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them.
