Here's Your Quick Peek: Gizmo is a sassy and well spirited boy! He loves other dogs and once he settles in, he is a spicy little man with a huge personality. Must have: A family dedicated to making sure he receives his medication daily and will get him regular checkups with the vet's office. Gizmo is on pimobenden 2.5 mg twice per day for life to support his heart. At 1800petmeds this is $2.31 per day. ($57.91 for a bottle of 50). If you are willing to use a pill cutter, the 5 mg can be cut in half. They are $1.41 per pill ($70.69 per bottle of 50) Exercise: Gizmo does not need an active life. He is playful but it is not for long. He will get zoomies and then nap. Best with: Dogs his size, families that are couch potatoes! Not ideal for: Large dogs, families looking for a marathon runner. Energy level: Low, snail paced Gizmo is a sweet boy with a past of little excitement. He looks for the calmer days; he wants to be the fun in the calm. He talks sometimes but it's not loud or excessive. Really, he's probably just telling you, his opinion. Good with dogs: Only with small dogs. Large dogs scare him. Good with kids: We think with kids that understand how to handle small dogs Gizmo would love to cuddle with them. He's a great cuddle bug! Cats: Yes. Fun fact: you would never know Gizmo has a heart murmur. He is lively and fun and loves to be the life of the party once he settles in!
