Meet Monte (Carlo) Known for tight streets and old-school charm, Monte Carlo isn’t about chaos—it’s about presence. Monte fits that perfectly. Monte is our biggest boy and carries himself like he’s been here before. He’s incredibly sweet, a little grumbly in the most endearing way, and has those soft, knowing eyes that make it feel like he’s quietly judging your driving style and life choices (lovingly, of course). With his wiry, scruffy coat and distinguished little “old man” face, Monte looks like he’s been working in the paddock for years and just came out of retirement. And those eyebrows? He looks like he’s about to question your tire strategy. But don't fret, He’s not here for unnecessary chaos. He prefers to observe, take it all in, and step in when it matters most. Monte is more of a “steady cruise” than full throttle - happy to hang back, soak up the scene, and move at his own pace. Monte would do best in a home that appreciates a thoughtful pup who just wants to be near his people without all the extra noise. Could you be his furever pit crew?We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
