Meet Sonoma Named after the technical, rhythm-driven circuit in California, Sonoma isn’t about chaos: it’s about timing, control, and knowing exactly when to make your move. Little Sonoma is not the one launching off the line or fighting for position in Turn 1. She is the kind of pup that hangs back, watches the field, and learns the flow. She’s observant, thoughtful, and moves with intention, like she’s already mapped out the whole track in her head. But don’t mistake that for hesitation. When she decides it’s her moment, she’s suddenly right there slipping into the action smoothly and confidently, like a perfectly timed pass through a tight section. Sonoma is a more reserved, steady pup who will do best in a home that lets her settle in at her own pace and build trust naturally. Once she’s comfortable, she locks in and she’s the perfect teammate. We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
