Meet Onyx! She is a 4 yr old Dachshund. She is not only gorgeous but incredibly happy and sweet. She was relinquished to a S Illinois shelter along with 3 other Dachshunds of various ages. We were able to pull 2 of the 4 dogs relinquished. Onyx had quite a few mammory gland tumors when she arrived. Thanks to the generous support from donors, we were able to raise the money to do surgery. Histopath did come back as cancer but our vet feels like she got it all and little Onyx is on the mend.
