About Valentino

Valentino is a happy, two-year-old male Great Pyrenees mix and a true survivor. He came into rescue in rough shape after suffering untreated animal bites, which led to a severe infection and ultimately the loss of one leg. Despite being a tripod, Valentino remains agile and playful, showing his resilience in full stride. True to his name, he has a heart-shaped mark on his head and a loving spirit to match. Valentino gets along well with big and small dogs, enjoys wrestling, and loves playing with toys. He hasn’t been tested around cats, so that’s still an unknown. Friendly and social with people, he sometimes gets excited and jumps up, so supervision is advised for smaller kids. Valentino is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. He’s just beginning to learn the leash, and although he isn’t a fan of getting into the car, he settles once inside. Currently fostered in North Texas, out-of-area adopters should be prepared to arrange transport. Your new best friend is just one click away.
